Crown, Emerald, and Ruby

I read the three newest Princess ships are "nearly identical" sisters. The word "nearly", of course, means something is different on each ship. Can someone who has sailed on all three ships explain what those differences are? I can't do a side-by-side comparison on one page like when I am shopping for a camera or computer and wish I could since I know there are a few differences among three ships.

Have only been on two of the three, but the differences are minor. For example, the shore excursion desk is in a different location and the Captain's Circle Hostess desk is at a different location.

Another example: the windows at the rear facing ocean view cabins on deck 14 are portholes on one of the ships and square windows on another.

Restaurants, casino, entertainment venues, bars, Vines, Purser's desk, art gallery, photo gallery, etc. are in the same location on each ship.

If anyone was on any of the ships (having been on all three previously), without being told which one they are on, I doubt they could tell the difference.

Waiting to complete my trifecta :D

We have been on the Emerald once (2nd time coming up in August), the Crown 4 times and the Ruby 3 times. I think we know the ships very well.

Caribill's post I'm sure is accurate but I would not be able to tell the difference betwen the ships without a concerted effort to find them.

We love them all.

Was wondering how you get the "block" that shows your countdown on the cruise in August?? Very kewl!

It's in the toolbar at the top of the page. Click on 'Countdown Clocks'. I see you founf the roll call for your cruise. EM
