Independent Air Info--Record Locator??

I tried to enter our independent air info on our Princess Cruise Personalizer and it won't let me unless I put in the "record locator". What exactly is that? I know in my home, I am the "record locator" aka "The Finder" ;o) but I think that is not really what they are looking for. :D

Every airline ticket has a confirmation number (aka record locator). Sometimes it is a mixture of letters and numbers sometimes just letters. I just looked at two of my upcoming reservations (one on Delta and one on American Airlines) both record locators are six letters. Hope this helps.

For the sake of accuracy, it is usually six characters long, but not always.

And, you'll use that number to print your boarding pass ahead of time and/or check in at the airport kiosks. It's a handy thing to memorize if you're inclined to do so. Saves a little time so you don't have to dig for it when you're all excited at the airport! :D
