Hi,

Ok girls, hope you don't think this question is crazy.

I have 2 black swim shorts and 2 swim tops mixed color tops to wear with them.

My problem is the top, air gets in when I'm in the hot tub and ballons what can I do to prevent that. It looks awful and I feel uncomfortable and always trying to push the air out of the top.

What can I do amd does this happen to anyone else.

Thanks,

Marcy

That's an annoying problem! I can't think of much to say other than maybe a different suit would help. Personally, I'd be tempted to observe other people and see if it happens to them... If not, maybe you could pick up another bathing suit top (in a shop or port), but if it does, you should just jump right in and bubble away with the best of them!

Just press your arms across your bust to push out the air. No one will be paying attention...folks really ignore everyone else on vacation!

I do that when getting OUT of the water...to push the excess water out of the bra top!

Thanks to all of you.

I'll just go have fun air and all and with my age and body shape I need to stick to the suit I have.

I tried on so many to find one that didn't look to bad on me. So air and all Hot Tub here I come.

Thanks,

Marcy

  • 2 weeks later...

This usually happens when there are two separate layers of fabric (i.e a lining and the outer fabric), depending on the nature of the outer fabric. Look for an unlined suit (the powerknits are substantial enough not to need a lining).
