Will there be mini bars in all cabins, all ships 2011?

I am looking at the 2011 Summer Collection and it states that there are mini bars in all cabins. This information does not appear to be specific to the Marina. Will the Regatta be getting mini fridges in all cabins when it is refurbished next winter?

You asked about mini-bars - that usually means a "bar" - refrigerated or not - where alcoholic beverages are stored. Some lines offer such bars, some are inclusive and most are not. In other words, you must pay for what you consume.

 

Oceania has never had such mini-bars - but has had mini-refrigerators in suites and above - with soft drinks and bottled water available at charge.

 

After each refurbishment, all staterooms are scheduled to have refrigerators included, and as a change in policy, soft drinks and water, will be free.

After reading that all cabins will have refrigerated mini bars next year I called Oceania to confirm but the person on the phone said that only the Marina would. I believe (and hope) that you are correct and that the Oceania spokesman was not up to date on his information.

Soft drinks ad water have been included since the end of April 2010.

Since you two are always right I question an earlier posting that Regatta will go "into dry dock January 22, 2011." Is now postponed?:confused:

Regatta will be going into dry dock on January 22nd, 2011, and will be back in service February 3rd.

That is good news as we'll be on the NY- Montreal cruise.

Better to be on the Regatta after dry dock than just before.

Not so good for us as we are on her Nov/Dec this year so we'll miss out on any improvements.
