My dh went crazy here......we spent $870.00 (US$) at this place. Love the Frankincense and Myrrh ! If you go they will basically show you two sizes of bottles that are available. They have smaller bottles - they just don't tell you that. They also have "deals" where you buy X get Y free and such....... we did that. However, we wanted the smaller bottles and when we went to get our order they were the next size larger..... dh didnt mind. We ended up with 10 bottles. But I did have to get creative in packing them in the suitcase since you can't take liquids on the plane. They will package them up for you pretty well and all of ours made it home ok.

It's sad to see all the unrest in Egypt and that damage was done to some of the antiquities in the Cairo Museum.

Seeing video of the unrest in Alexandria which will probably cancel cruise stops to Egypt for a while.

Our Egyptian guides are in my thoughts. I hope they are OK and I will never forget the pride they had in their country.

We were thinking of our guide too! I sent him a message through Facebook but, with the internet shut down by the government, I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen it yet. The museum is located right next to the government headquarters which has been set afire.

I heard the museum was ok... that the military had secured it. The building next door was not so lucky.......

Pirateskigirl - great review, thanks for taking the time. I especially enjoyed it as I've never booked a gate 1 tour and wondered how they stacked up. Hopefully, we'll be in Egypt in November if things cool down. Thanks again.

Sadly more unrest in Egypt again. I've bumped this up for the information and I hope when the latest Travel Warnings are lifted everyone gets to enjoy Egypt.

 

Again my thoughts turn to our wonderful guides, who made the trip so special.
