Chocolate Buffet

is there a chocolate buffet on NCL's Spirit ????

Last year on the Spirit to Alaska, the chocolate buffet was at a very bad time--5:30-6:30 just as we were finishing up cruising Tracy Arm Fjord/Sawyer Glacier and right at dinner time. We didn't go as we were too busy taking pictures of the scenery. Although a "mini-chocoholic buffet" started at 4:30 (get there early) in the casino which was sparsely attended (don't think people read their daily's). We filled up a couple of plates and took them back to our balcony cabin and enjoyed the chocolate while viewing the fantastic scenery.

What about the Star? When did they have their chocolate buffet?

Yes it was on our October 2004 cruise. It was a massive rush, we casually went to the fod court and it was packed, I never saw the chocolates as we left, poor set up, one entrance....

For future reference, is it only NCL that does the Chocolate Buffet?

I know Princess doesn't do it.

For some reason I thought it was Carnival that had the Chocolate Buffet.

It doesn't sound as if it was worthwhile considering the timing and setup. I had always envisioned a long period of time with all the chocolate you could eat.

First tim,e we did NCL, they had the chocolate Buffet at midnite. I heard all that caffine kept too mam=ny people up all niter. Next time we cruise NCL they did it in the afternoon, about 3:00. Neither of these were Alaska cruise so I'm not sure of the time on those cruises.
