at-c Posted August 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2010 We are booked on a sailing of the Emerald to the Eastern Carib and have a large (not massive) group of 20 people all traveling together. We are planning on fixed late dining as a group. On a couple of the nights, we would like to dine as a group at the Crown Grill and at Sabatini's on another night. My question is: How do I go about making a reservation for the group? The TA has contacted Princess group sales, and they were not able to pre-reserve dining in these specialty restaurants. Does anybody have any suggestions?

The sooner you do it the better the chance that you will get the time you request. They will also let you know if 20 people can be done (which I'm sure it can) and what arrangements are made. Whimsy Posted August 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2010 When you board there will be a Patters in your room with info on making the specialty dining reservations. Do it right away and you will be able to be accomodated. Maybe broken into 2 tables or something but they will be able to take care of you all. Just call the dining line as soon as you board to ensure you get your group the desired dates.....:):):) Bob
paul929207 Posted August 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2010 You will have to make the reservation once on board. Princess does not take reservations for the specialty restaurants before the cruise.
pjs9876 Posted August 5, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2010 I like to run up there in person. I can check tables, etc. I do it right away after boarding. We were on with a similarly sized group. They ate in Crown without any trouble at all. Just reserve early.
Pam in CA Posted August 5, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 5, 2010 Do not delay; call and make the reservation for the day and time that you want. It'll be easier in the Crown Grill as they are more flexible but I've found that Sabatinis has a set schedule for reservations.

He took good care of us a couple of weeks ago. :)
