Equinox - Select Dining??

We are going on the Christmas Cruise on Dec 17 and have chosen select dining as early dining is a bit early for us and late is much too late.

 

Do we stiil get to eat in the main dining room and can we go in at 7.30 every night?

Yes, you still go to the Main Dining Room and you can go at 7:30 every evening. Unless you've made a resrvation, you mmay have a short wait. There is a section on the upper level specifically desiginated for Select Dining.

What we did in March ( there were six of us) was to make a reservation for the first night at 7:30 and then while we were there have them put us down for 7:30 every night of the cruise. It worked perfectly; we kept our same waiter and assistant and table for the whole cruise.

We did the same on the Equinox in Feb. Worked like a charm. Switched the second night and had reservations for 7pm for the remaining 8 days. We plan to do the same on the Millennium in December.

Thanks for all your replies - I have never been on such a big ship, think it is going to be a bit overwhelming at first.

We had the first seating and managed to change to "select". It worked perfectly - never had to wait for more than two min.

Select Dining is when you go eat dinner at the time you choose.

Celebrity offers Traditional and Select. Traditional is the choice

of main or late.....2 different times...same table, same tablemates,

same time, same waitstaff.

 

Select is when you go to the dining room at the time you choose.

You can ask to be seated with others or not. You will possibly get

the same wait staff but not necessarily. And you might get the same

table but might not.

 

Edocs are your cruise documents that come via email.
