Suggestions for the between day of a b2b at POM

I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for the between day of a b2b at POM at the end of November?

 

Last year, we didn't have anything booked and ended up trying to come up with something at the last minute, which didn't work out.

 

Ideally, I'd like to do something along the lines of a trip to the everglades, but not sure if there was a company that would pick up from the port / easy distance of the port & bring us back.

 

Any suggestions welcome, I'm also (very!:p) happy to go shopping in extremis.

How much would the cab be roughly?

The cab will be around $20.00 each way. Distance is about 15 minutes.

 

I also think going to South Beach is a nice way to spend the time. It's fun to walk around and there are lots of shops, cafes, hotels, people and the nice beach.

South beach, or Lincoln Rd (which is sort of Mid-Beach.)

 

Either way, you'll have a blast.

We're in Miami for a few days before the cruise and we will spend sometime in South Beach etc before hand...

Check your cruiseline's excursion offerings. The last time we sailed out of Miami we did a ship sponsored Everglades tour as we had several hours before our flight departure. There were other couples/families that were doing the same tour before returning to the ship for their B2B.

That I do not know, but I am sure that it is easy to taxi back to the Port from MIA.

We're gettign closer to the cruise and I still haven't decided what we'll be doing - any suggestions apart from South Beach?

News Cafe on Ocean Drive. It is a South Beach landmark. It's also where Versace went right before he was shot and it's a great place to people watch.

You could go to Bayside it is about $10 for a taxi

do a search for Everglades Tours there is a company that does them about 4-5 hrs long just be sure you are back to the ship 2 hr prior to sail away time
