What better place to look to the heavens than the middle of the ocean!!

Anyone with a telescope knows about ambient light given off from cities, etc, and trapped in the atmosphere.

 

I must keep that one in mind!

 

As far as us, we would never sail without a balcony, and on our last 6 cruises it has been a GS.

In addition to them, and basics like money/passports/clothes, I don't really have any "musts". Perhaps my shampoo/conditioner because the one that ships provide aren't safe for color-treated hair, and maybe my hair straightener to combat the effects of humidity on my hair.

 

I love balconies, but I am not so spoiled that I cannot cruise without them if the price is too high - I'd rather go on two cruises!

Clear packing tape. I have used it for everything from holding my ripped bag together, to holding back curtians, to making and/or securing luggage tags and the list goes on.
