schultz Posted September 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2010 OK I know this has been asked many times but I can't find a recent thread. How much are the buckets going for now? Can you still get a large Fosters for the same price as the regular size beers?
myangel Posted September 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2010 I am intersted in an answer to this question as well. Wondering if we should buy beer by the bucket (Bud Lite) or purchase drink coupons for them. Can u use a drink coupon for the 16 oz aluminum? REALgetaway Posted September 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2010 do they have micro brews on the ships on tap? ;)
salty dingo Posted September 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2010 do they have micro brews on the ships on tap? ;) Most definitely not! Draft is very hard to come by and when you do find it, no micro brew. :(
klepton Posted September 25, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Best thing about getting a bucket is that you don't need to wait for a new beer when you finish yours. Cost savings isn't all that much. Selection is very limited as well... That's why I usually do mixed drinks onboard.

schultz Posted September 25, 2010 Author #9 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Last year they didn't have Foster's on our cruise. They said they were out of stock for awhile. Anyone seen it lately. It is still in the mega large cans?
AndrewD65 Posted September 25, 2010 #10 Share Posted September 25, 2010 You can do cans, on the Legend in June I did cans for 14.00 including everything.
jkbec1 Posted September 25, 2010 #11 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Can anyone let me know what my beer choices are, besides Bud, Coors and I'm guessing Fosters? Does Carnival offer a specialty beer like RCCL does, they have a beligum style beer that they put their own label on and it was really good. Thanks! I saw cans of Heineken and Guinness.. they also had a blue moon beer that was quite tasty.. they have quite a few selections.. I dont remember them all tho.. Hogladyrider Posted September 25, 2010 #13 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Dream 9/11 bucket of Bud's in aluminum cans, 4 beers - $25+ includes gratuity.
bptex Posted September 25, 2010 #14 Share Posted September 25, 2010 do they have micro brews on the ships on tap? ;) The only "tap" you'll see are the small Heineken kegs. As for Fosters, they are still 25.4 ounces compared to 16 but they are more expensive. I think it was about a $1.50 higher.
brelyn Posted September 25, 2010 #15 Share Posted September 25, 2010 OK I know this has been asked many times but I can't find a recent thread. How much are the buckets going for now? Can you still get a large Fosters for the same price as the regular size beers? Just came back from Triumph (9/11/10). A bucket of Bud light (4) was $24 and some change and that included gratuity. I don't recall seeing Fosters though.

Jimmy Geegitz Posted September 25, 2010 #17 Share Posted September 25, 2010 Fosters are 6.75 for 25.5 oz "oilcan" Bud Lite is $5.75 for 16 oz aluminum bottle. plus tip of course. Fosters is the best beer deal on the boat.

salty dingo Posted September 25, 2010 #19 Share Posted September 25, 2010 add 7% Miami tax and then add the gratuity, $ 21.90 I believe they only charge the Miami tax if you are actually in Miami when you make the purchase. Found out this little tidbit on my last cruise!
