curiouscat Posted October 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2010 So what is in the lounge??? Please let me know your experiences with this part of the ship... Thanks CC
algorithmannie Posted October 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2010 The relaxation room is the waiting room for guests that are getting a spa treatment. There are some lounge chairs and there is an excellent view from the bow of the ship. There is also fruit infused water available. This room is also open for all Aqua Class passengers to use at their leisure.

jwright98 Posted October 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Just got back from the Solstice in AQ. I didn't use the relaxation room, but did use the persion garden once (last sea day, wish I had used it more). The PG was very relaxing, and I liked the sauna. curiouscat Posted October 13, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted October 13, 2010 I plan on using the persian garden daily as my Programme de Zen.... How was the shower? I know it has the special panels but was it bigger than the regular showers? My hubby is 6'2 !!! CC
mpace58 Posted October 13, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2010 The 1st day, the PG was relaxing, before everyone else found it. After that, it was not relaxing at all. The door would open and bang shut every few minutes. To many people coming and going. The shower? The one in your cabin or the ones in the PG? The shower in your cabin is the biggest I've seen on a cruise ship, 6'2 is still going to be a tight fit. The shower in the PG comes out of the ceiling and so he will have lots of room, however there was only cold water in there.
curiouscat Posted October 13, 2010 Author #7 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Thanks..wanted to know about shower in Aqua cabin...is it bigger than the regular cabins....I know it has the fancier water shower heads... CC
Gonzo70 Posted October 13, 2010 #8 Share Posted October 13, 2010 The shower in the AQ stateroom is no bigger than that of other non-suites (at least as far as I noticed).
jagoffee Posted October 13, 2010 #9 Share Posted October 13, 2010 That is correct. The shower in the AQ is the same size as the CC, but it does have a really nice series of shower heads.
Rare shipshape sam Posted October 14, 2010 #10 Share Posted October 14, 2010 What's the opinion of value for AQ category over CC category if cost per person is $200 for a 7 day cruise? If greater than $200/person on a 7 day cruise?
curiouscat Posted October 14, 2010 Author #11 Share Posted October 14, 2010 What's the opinion of value for AQ category over CC category if cost per person is $200 for a 7 day cruise? If greater than $200/person on a 7 day cruise? Right now on our sailing the AQ is less expensive than the CC by $100 I would say it's an individual choice of how much your going to use the amenities... and what it's worth to you... Will have more to report when I return... I see we're sailing on the same date. CC
