Flacruiser123 Posted October 31, 2010 Author #51 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Well, we may not have a concierge on the Grandeur, but we do have a Suite Guest Specialist. ;) Here is part of the email he sent: "My name is Mauricio Mamby and I am the Suite Guest Specialist onboard the Grandeur of the Seas. We are honored that you have selected Royal Caribbean International for your cruise vacation experience. As our elite VIP Guests you are entitled to services not readily available to our other guests onboard the Grandeur of the Seas. My team and I are available to assist you with any special needs and requests that you may have such as Spa treatments and/or Excursion priority bookings. If you have any Dining requests, we can certainly forward these on for consideration to our Maitre d'." I responded with a request as to whether they could provide our first formal night dinner on a table in our room, served in courses as suggested by Rick. I just love this idea and hope they can accommodate this, as the table in Meriom Mom's pictures looked pretty small....:) :(Just in case anyone else is considering this wonderful dinner option in a suite on the Vision class ships, I thought I'd post the response to my request above: "Good afternoon , I talked to Maitre D and he told me that we don't have that service on small ships, however contact me upon arrival to see what options do we have. cruisegirl1 Posted October 31, 2010 #52 Share Posted October 31, 2010 My new TA told me that she once had a customer that booked an outside stateroom, and got upgraded 12 levels to an owner's suite. I believe that was Mrs. Goldstein. She said to the TA, “I see you are in the travel industry. Perhaps you have heard of my son Adam!” :D M
