IPod/MP3 hookup to stateroom TV??

This is what is on the back of the TV:

And this is what came up on the TV screen if you tried to change the source:

Mind, these connections were on the left side of the TV, which was the exposed side in my cabin. If your cabin has the TV on the opposite side, you might not be able to access them.

First, you can never predict for sure what type of TV will be in any Princess ship. Ships launched as late as 5 years ago still have standard TV sets. Newer ships may have flat screens.

Second, I have never experienced any princess ship that has “piped” music in any cabin

Third, most cruise lines buy TV’s with the ability of being put into “hotel mode” AND USE IT.

We take laptop with good speakers, stand alone IPod charger, “On Stage” power and speaker system and a universal remote to bypass “hotel mode”
