Question about ferry to galveston???

My MIL will be driving us to Galveston tomorrow. She will be taking us down hwy. 87, I understand there is a ferry that crosses over to Galveston. Does anybody know if this ferry has any specific running times or does it run all day? I'm from Michigan and a bit paranoid, just trying to make sure everything goes smoothly tomorrow:)

Here's a link I found by using Google. It says the ferry operates 24 hours a day but doesn't give specific times. http://www.galveston.com/galvestonferry/

They are talking about coming in the "long" way around from the Bolivar Peninsula...not the I 45 causeway.

You do not say where you are coming from

We usually take the I-10 to 146 then south or you can go to I-45then south

 

Probably better to stick to the main roads ;)
