LoveThisCruisingThing Posted January 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Here I come. I am trying to get a 5th cruise under my belt so I can enjoy the perks of the next level when I cruise to Europe in 2012. Was hoping for a 3-5 day RT/Los Angeles but my travel agent said it is doubtful Princess will do that in Dec. Darnnit. So I booked a 7 day RT/Los Angeles instead. My travel agency was having a cruise sale so I got an inside Caribe for the same price as a Plaza inside. (I personally didn't care but my TA said she didn't want me on such a low deck...I have THE best TA). So I am excited, it's going to be a no frills cruise (just a tour to the tile factory and hacienda in Puerto Vallarta), and it is going to be so nice to relax. Rare Coral Posted January 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Insides on Plaza deck are actually pretty good. I would prefer that to an inside on Caribe.
Rare Coral Posted January 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Mexico is very relaxing - especially if you don't do anything. You will have a nice time on the Sapphire.
Pam in CA Posted January 15, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Just got home today from a 10-day Mexican Riviera cruise on the Sapphire. While I got off at most ports for at least a little while, I didn't have anything planned in any port. I wasn't alone. Very relaxing.
Rare geoherb Posted January 15, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2011 We love being on the Plaza Deck. It's very convenient. If I had to have an inside, that's where I'd want to be. The last two times we ended up on the Plaza Deck, however, we were in outside cabins--when the Upgrade Fairy decided to give us ocean view cabins instead of obstructed views.
