librayacht Posted January 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2011 Does anyone know how and where the Superbowl can be seen on Navigator? I think we were on Liberty and they had the ability to project the television signal onto a screen in the main theatre but Navigator is a little older and may not have that ability. mo&fran Posted January 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2011 we were on Explorer last week and the AFC playoff was on a large tv in Studio B, in addition to TV's in various bars and the stateroom TV's. I would guess Superbowl will be the same. I am curious about one thing though, there are no commercials shown during the game. DW was on this ship a couple of years ago during Superbowl and there wern't any commercials on then either.
FrannyK Posted January 29, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2011 We just got off Navigator on Monday and have been on the Navigator for Super Bowl in the past. They will show it on a big screen in Studio B (the ice rink) and it will also be showing in the sports bar on the Promonade and possibly some other bars on the ship. Not sure if it is shown on cabin TV or not. On the Navigator last weekend they showed Sunday football games in Studio B and also cabin TV's. Jtd724 Posted January 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2011 I watched the Colts vs Bears superbowl on the Navigator at the 19th hole sports bar in the viking crown. Loved it. It's aired on ESPN internationally and no commercials. It's wierd but I sware the commercials are a big part of the superbowl. Kinda missed that. In addition to studio B and cabin TVs. they also showed it in the Pub and vintages and the 19th hole (way too small). We took over Boleras Lounge (I'm pretty sure it was boleras if not schooner), the one with the TV. The skincare person showed up at 3 to give her demonsstration but quickly retreated when she realized she had no chance of shutting off the TV

The best spot to watch the game IMO if you like to have great views of the sea your cruising on.

OnTheBeach Posted February 1, 2011 #11 Share Posted February 1, 2011 We were on Navigator last year for the Superbowl and will be on it again this year. Last year, they broadcast the game in the main theater and in Studio B. Satellite feed so you got the game, but none of the commercials, so if you like to see all the ads, you'll have to watch them online when you get home. Also had the game on most of the TVs in the casino and many of the other bars.
