attawaytogo Posted February 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Does anyone know when the balance of the 2012 schedule will come out?
Rare WesW Posted February 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2011 A reliable TA told me early next week..last year they released the schedule a day early to SSS members..maybe this year as well.
Paint Horse Posted February 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2011 The schedule has been out since the council meeting in the middle of January. They have just never put it on their web site.
Travelcat2 Posted February 5, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2011 Due to the issues in Egypt, the 2012 itineraries may come out, but, they will definitely be subject to changes -- particularly in the middle east. IMO, it is in the best interest of passengers to delay the itineraries for a couple of weeks in the hopes that the unrest settles down in the Middle East and allows Regent to estimate when they may return to the Egyptian ports. Our hearts go out to the many many people who lost their businesses in the past couple of weeks.
Paint Horse Posted February 5, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2011 The problems in the Middle East are no reason to not post everything on the web site. Regent has already adjusted the itineraries in the near term. No one is going to alter an itinerary for June 2012 and after based on events in February of 2011. Travelcat2 Posted February 5, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2011 The schedule has been out since the council meeting in the middle of January. They have just never put it on their web site. Certain itineraries were not decided as of the 3rd week of January. All of us are waiting. . . . we just need a bit of patience.

mrlevin Posted February 6, 2011 #13 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Anyone know the dates the Navigator will be cruising to Alaska.Hoping to take a family trip and would like to book early Fishgirl123 The 1 May 12 San Francisco to Vancouver cruise is already posted. The first cruise from Vancouver is 12 May 12. In 2011, all Alaskan cruises are seven days; I don't know if that will stay the same for 2012. For planning, you might use the seven day schedule which means sailing north and south on alternate Saturdays.
Wendy The Wanderer Posted February 6, 2011 #14 Share Posted February 6, 2011 We've already booked the SF-Van itinerary. It's been posted for a while.
fishgirl123 Posted February 6, 2011 #15 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Thanks all. And now for the deck. Thinking of Deck 5 since we are treating 12 people to a trip. Any comments on anchor problems, location problems, anything else before I book this, particular rooms. Regent does give some price benefits for a group. We are new to Regent so if anyone knows anything I should ask for please let me know. Does Regent let past cruisers know dates earlier than the public? Thanks Fishgirl123
cruiseluv Posted February 6, 2011 #16 Share Posted February 6, 2011 The two times we have cruised on Navigator( one of those was to Alaska) we have had cabins on deck 5. No complaints whatsoever. Navigator has a bad vibration towards the back , so don't book any cabins in the aft section. All deck 5 cabins are forward so no problem there. Rare WesW Posted February 9, 2011 #17 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Per a reliable TA (Marc uses this office) who spoke with Mark Conroy on board Oceania's Marina (3 day Tvl Agent cruise (Sat-this am) the 2012 itineraries will now be released in March some time. Travelcat2 Posted February 9, 2011 #18 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Yes, my TA was onboard the new Oceania Marina (such a lovely ship) and learned that schedules will be out until March. As I mentioned above, I more or less expected the delay since many Regent itineraries include Egypt. They are doing the responsible thing by reevaluating their 2012 itineraries. While we are more than anxious to book something for next year, I applaud Regent's decision.
Rare RachelG Posted February 9, 2011 #19 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Dionne, the cruise director currently on Navigator, informed me this afternoon that schedules for the remainder of 2012 will be released mid-March. This is due to current events in Egypt, etc.
Paint Horse Posted February 9, 2011 #20 Share Posted February 9, 2011 That doesn't make any sense as the TAs already have the schedule. The only place it is not, is Regent's own web site.
rarin2go Posted February 9, 2011 #21 Share Posted February 9, 2011 Local (UK) TA is advertising Navigator leaving San Francisco on May 1st 2012 for an 11 day Alaska cruise disembarking Vancouver. HTH.

HTH. That's been available on the website since sometime in January. Just nothing later. We're booked on this cruise. But it's 10 days I think. rarin2go Posted February 9, 2011 #23 Share Posted February 9, 2011 I think it's only just appeared on the UK version of the website but it's shown as 11 nights not days - mea culpa!:o
Wendy The Wanderer Posted February 9, 2011 #24 Share Posted February 9, 2011 You're right, it is listed as 11 nights! More nights is good.
