Himself Posted February 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2011 I know it is Superbowl Sunday and I too would rather be at Sea or Boarding a HAL ship but that will not be for a couple of weeks. In the Playoffs, I was cheering for "da Bears" but since they didn't do it I would like to see the Represntative of the National Conference of the NFL win. So I have to say Go Green Bay. spcl4cs_gal Posted February 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Is it customary for ships leaving FLL to depart early? For the past three weeks I have watched the Nieuw Amsterdam leave between 4:30 and 5pm as opposed to the stated time of 5pm. Must be something new once they get everyone on board.
Himself Posted February 7, 2011 #6 Share Posted February 7, 2011 I think the Harbor Master would determine if a ship is to leave early. I could see an advantage to letting a ship go early if all are aboard. It would make traffic flow a little easier if a ship can leave a little early. Well with as crowded as it was yesterday (Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Allure, Carnival Freedom, Solstice, and Ruby Princess) I can understand ships leaving early. It was interesting watching the NA pull out around the Allure to leave. :)
