I'm eagerly awaiting a report too. We'll be there in March on NOS. Hopefully this thread won't descend into xenophobia like the other one.

Scary I read the Jamaican paper from today 2/18 and the comments from the locals about crime and pick pocketers doesn't sound to good. I'm not sure yet what I will do in Nov when we dock there?

Not to jump to any conclusions, but it looks a little "under developed". Perhaps the business decision was open ready or not.

Given those pictures (BTW - thank you for posting them, njtom) I tend to agree. I hope those trees grow fast but for now, better wear lots of sunscreen. Doesn't look like too much shade area at the pier.
