Shuttle from FLL airport to pier

Is there a shuttle from Ft. Lauderdale airport to the pier? If so does anyone know what the charge is?

Taxi; there are a lot of taxis waiting; the drive is 10-15 min tops. It will cost about $15 with tip. There is a Walgreens on the corner of the port; we had our taxi driver stop so my wife could run in and get some supplies; the cost for the stop about $1.00.

No not really..The price quote for a taxi 2-3 people a total of $15-18 inc tip (ask for the flat rate before getting in)...RCI transfers price quoted is pp...Take a taxi..you won't be sorry and also one on the return back to FLL...

And the taxi doesn't wait around for 2 hours to fill up.

Take a taxi. The cruise port is within two miles or so from the airport. Depending where the ships are docked you can see the smokestacks from the airport.

So the taxi will give you a flat rate? I'm worried that it will be backed up at the pier and the meter will be running for 30 mins.

I have had taxi drivers quote me a flat rate of $20 (incl tip???). In any case I always tell them to turn on the meter. Runs about $13 plus a $3 tip.

 

If by chance there is a back-up, the meter will run when standing but I think you are still better off turning on the meter.
