AlaskaFan05 Posted March 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Hello, I am inquiring as to whether a Glory balcony cabin has a fridge in it? According to the Carnival website, it does but just looking for confirmation of that from someone that has actually been on the ship. Thanks, Jeff

Can't even fit a dinner plate in there! (wanted to store some chocolate cake- had to put it on a small plate)
papilliontraveler Posted March 15, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Just got off the Glory in a balcony room. Yes they do. We had them empty it out so we could keep our soda, juice, etc. in there.

laumicmah Posted March 15, 2011 #9 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Do the fridges lock? My DS and his friend (both 14) will be in a cabin by themselves and I don't want to be surprised by a hefty bill at the end of the cruise from them drinking and eating everything in the fridge. I read that you can ask the steward to empty it, but that they just put it all up on the desk shelf and that would not deter these boys.

JXR Posted March 15, 2011 #11 Share Posted March 15, 2011 Just came back from the Glory last week. I had balcony cabin 7435, and there was a mini-fridge. Enjoy your cruise. Joanne

RWolver672 Posted March 16, 2011 #13 Share Posted March 16, 2011 Yes, the cabin steward can lock / unlock the mini-bar for you. Every cruise that we've been on that had the mini-bar, they were locked when you board the ship. You had to ask to have them unlocked.
