after the wait in departing and a great moon lite departure from brisbane, you could not ask for a better day for a cruise.

AAaaah! I remember that beautiful view so well! Our first cruise was on the Pacific Jewel last Sept in that same area. Never get tired of looking at that photo...thanks for that!! Wonderful cruise too!!

Pacific Sun and Pacific Pearl in at the same time Sydney 01/07/2011

I do hope they leave on time today

One would think that P&O could get the times on there web cam the same.

 

According to Sydney shipping movements Pacific Sun berthed at 6.18 am and depart at 4pm

Pacific Pearl berthed at 7.15 am and depart at 4pm

they are saying on FB that the jewel maybe leaving at 8pm tonight

 

i know sydney port says 6am tomorrow but they are only on a 3 day cruise so they have to get going

Not sure that they 'have' to get going, it is not very nice here in Sydney with up to 7m swells outside and seas of around 1m in the harbour. The conditions on the coast are described as dangerous and that is why the Pacific Jewel was late. It may be that they are not going for (1) passanger comfort; (2) the port may be closed.

Actually think the port is closed, nothing has moved in or out of either Sydney or Port Botany since Pacific Jewel arrived this morning, despite quite a few movements having been scheduled.
