That's what I'm thinking. I've heard James Andrews is really good, so I'm hoping. We used to LOVE Ken Rush on Navigator, Freedom, and Liberty ... but he is now on Independence.

I'd hate to say this, but there is none. I talked with 2 senior Cruse Directors on this one, and here is what they said;

 

1) Usually it is 4months on 2off.

 

2) They can request a ship, but it doesn't mean they will get it

 

3) for special sailings/events it can go by seniority but the company obviously has the final word. (I.E. Ken Rush getting the rare around the horn)

 

4) They can be moved at any time, and if you follow this board you know it is true due to Family emergencies, medical leaves, resignations etc. There have been times when I think I have a Cruise Directors schedule down, and 1 gets moved, creating a domino effect on several ships!
