cr8z4cruzn Posted March 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2011 I'm big on smell goods...can anyone recommend a good smelling sunblock lotion that will last for a couple of hours, and yet do what it's designed to do?
janabm81 Posted March 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2011 I've always been partial to Coppertone's smell personally. :)
cb at sea Posted March 29, 2011 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2011 I loved "Sea and Ski".....but I don't think they make it anymore! It wasn't "sunblock"...it was a tanning lotion!!!! (Back before anyone knew the sun could hurt you!!!) Go to a store, unscrew the tops and start smelling different products!

Sheffie Posted March 29, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 29, 2011 If I want to have my brain think "summer," all I have to do is open a bottle of Coppertone.

Sometimes WalMart has it. I usually go with Coppertone, but want something a lil' different. Just checked Walmart for Ocean Potion, so I'll drop by today and take a whiff of it. Couldn't find Sea & Ski, and we know how stores are about you standing there opening bottles.

ookpik Posted March 30, 2011 #8 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Ambre Solaire by Garnier smells like summer in the south of France. It used to be just oil but now they have a much more protective product.

huxlemo Posted April 2, 2011 #13 Share Posted April 2, 2011 After years of trying different sunscreens, we only use the 30 or 50 spf Ocean Potion lotion. They smell great and are waterproof.
emmtee Posted April 5, 2011 #14 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Avon Bug Guard Plus: http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=36449 It's a sunscreen/insect repellant combo. I tried the blue one and the white one, but only the blue smells good. It goes on blue so you can see where you put it and then dries clear. Cavners5 Posted April 6, 2011 #16 Share Posted April 6, 2011 Also Avon has a new sunblock lotion that smells really good. I had a sample and put it on my son before he went skiing. It is called Anew Solar Advantage, SPF 45, for body and face.
