Loving the pictures! Can't wait to get on her in 2013 after the retrofit. Will be sad to see the Martini Bar and Champagne Bar disappear though. DH and I spent way too much time and money at those bars on Millie's sister Connie. :o:)

The Martini Bar is not disappearing. Just moving it;) Now as for the

Champagne Bar? That one will be gone.

Good to know - although I have read that it is a lot smaller on the Connie since she's been solscitized. Glad to read about the drink packages too - goodness knows I'll make good use out of one of those!!:D Hopefully they don't disappear before our 2013 cruise.

It is not the same type of bar anymore. The Martini Bars on the S class

ships are what would be called "Island Bars". Seats go all the way around

and the bartenders are in the middle. The M class ships had the regular

bars....you can sit at the bar and behind the bartender are shelves

with bottles. The M class also has totally different seating. I have

sailed both class of ships but not been on a Solstisiced M class yet.

The M class has more seating for a group...couches and such. The

S class Martini Bar? It is more small alcoves if you want to sit down

and not be "at the bar".....they are totally different deckplans.

What wonderful photos!! They make me very excited for our upcoming sailing in October.

I do have to question, though...the photos that you mention are a Royal Suite...are they a Royal Suite? I don't believe the Royal Suites have windows like that as the Royal Suites have balconies. That seems more like a Celebrity Suite to me. It doesn't look like there is a balcony outside of those windows.

I've been looking for new photos of a Royal Suite...and at least this gives me an idea.

Thanks again!!

:) :)
