Oasis entertainment question

Recommended Posts

Just locked in all our reservations for our cruise on the oasis. Does anyone know how the actual seating location is determined? I would assume that suite holders and diamond + would have the best seats but what determines it after that? Is it how early or late you reserve? Just curious.

I thought that seating was on a first come, first serve basis, regardless of level. We had planned on arriving early for the shows to get good seats. Hopefully someone who has already sailed on her will respond :).

It is absolutely first come, first seated. They will open the doors about half an hour before show time, usually. At about ten minutes before, they allow people who don't have reservations to take any unused seats.

You're merely reserving a place in the theater, your actual seat yet to be determined. If you book and you decide not to go, you don't have to cancel - just don't go, and someone in the standby line will gladly take your "seat" (someone in another thread has asked abut this).

Yeah, we know how that goes. You start to take a seat and someone says, "Oh we are saving this for someone."

Each venue has a reserved section for Suite guests and Diamond plus cruisers. Other than that, you can sit where ever you wish. If the Suite/D+ sections don't fill up they are released the last 10 minutes or so for everyone else.

This is how it works. It all depends on when you get there. Get there early, get good seats. :)

JJ2sail has it correct and we can confirm. Been there on Freedom, Mariner and Allure on our last three cruises.
