Overcharge on final folio? HELP!

This has never happened before to us so I thought I would get some feedback here. We disembarked the Crown Princess one day before its final destination. We paid our bill in cash and in full at the pursers desk the day before we left. We did not make any purchases or used our card after that. I just got my credit card statement and low and behold there is a 10.00 charge from the Crown Princess. I called Princess and they said they do not have any record of such a charge. They wanted me to fax them my statement. Any one have a clue what this could be for?

Without the posting code, I would have no idea, however on the rare occasion I have found an error on our folio after we have disembarked the ship I have found Princess very easy to deal with and most accommodating.

Speak to your credit card company as well as Princess.

I just had a similar thing happen with my card.

Found I had £470 of charges to Emerald Princess when my bill was only $180

Whole thing was sorted in 24 hours and money credited back to my account - well worth the phone call.

That new rate per day is correct: I was even surprised when we boarded, as we had no notice of Princess increasing their Gratuity rate in our office.

We had a recent issue with an overcharge and it was settled efficiently.
