After the Past Guest Party we were feeling really good!!! If you tip the waiter then he will make sure to come back to you. We ended up getting like 8-10 drinks in a hour!!! So you know we were having fun!!

 

We went to the MDR after that because it wasn't much going on that we really wanted to do.

 

After dinner we decided to split up and some went to the casino, karaoke, and I went to the show!!! Tonight was New Wave Magic!!

 

We all decided to meet up tonight at 10 in the Big Easy!!! Since we are from New Orleans we decided to check out the Mardi Gras Fun Hoppin'. It was fun and different!! We had took some beads with us and throwing them to everyone!! I had to say I really enjoyed my Mardi Gras Day on this cruise!!! We will def. be doing future "Escape from Mardi Gras Cruise" I didn't bring my camera with me tonight. The battery was dead:(

 

I was planning on going to A Kiss Goodnight, I only stayed for about 20 minutes and then decided I really should call it a night since we still have Nassau in the morning!! I came back to the room and decided to try my use my camera to snap a photo of my cute little creature......

Today is Nassau!!!

We order room service and had it delivered at 7:00 since we went to bed late. Room Service delivered the food and straight out on the balcony we went!! I love being on the balcony coming into and leaving port!!! Here are some pictures of coming into port!!!

Ok...So after we docked we had all of these seaguls flying around our cabins.... It was so neat!!!

So needless to say we didn't eat the food we ordered from R/S because we feed it to the birds!!!

We had 6 ships in port with us today... The lucky ones that got to park beside us was the Norwegian Gem... So of course I took some photos of them....

So after we had enough bird seeing we decided to go eat breakfast at the lido deck and go check out Nassau!!!

We didn't have an excursion planned today!! We decided when we got off the ship and walked through the terminal and we saw scooters for rent!! So we decided to rent scooters in Nassau!! It was FUN!! Here are some of the sights we saw...

I was having fun with y'all until you started feeding the pigeons, oh seagulls. Same to me, just flying rats! LOL! You were brave on the scooters. Did you by any chance, check out Fort Charlotte? Its pretty cool!

I'm with you. Where I live (Nova Scotia) these things are always flying around like vultures looking for food. Drive to any fast food restauraunt and while eating in the parking lot they will be all around, maybe even on the hodd of your car, just waiting for a fry. I don't feed them anything because I don't want to encourage this. Not afraid of them but always think of the germs they likely carry ... eewwww. :eek:

Loved your review - we will be sailing on the Triumph in April 2012 when she moves to Galveston. I think I just might have a Bon Voyage basket with me too....:D

These dang things would not go away!! I swear if I would have left my balcony door open they would have probably flew in there.. They were annoying after the first 3 minutes!! LOL. No we didn't check out Fort Charlotte. We did manage to stay alive on the scooters thats about all. It was crazy riding scooters down there. The guy that came with us wrecked his and took it back to the store and we stayed on ours. We did manage to keep going down the wrong way because in the Bahamas you drive on the left and we kept going right. We eventually got the hang of it after almost running into about 10 cars 10 different times!! It was def. a experience!! I thought ppl drove crazy here but I think it was actually crazier down there!!

Did you see all the smoke we had here today. I couldn't hardly breath today it was horrible!! This marsh fire needs to go out or the wind blow a different direction. I have a migraine from breathing that stuff in all day:(

Thanks, the Bon Voyage basket is the way to go!! I love making mine and getting more alcohol onboard!! They never look at it!! They just think its water and chocolate or whatever you want to put in it!!!

We are headed to Paradise Island going over the toll bridge and not 5 minutes later Randy falls off the scooter and goes flying in the air and did a flip and landed on his shoulder. I looked back to see if Randy was still beside us and he wasn't. I told Brian (BF) to stop Randy is doing a flip and just fell off the scooter. I should have took a picture of it since I had my camera on but it didn't even register to take it till it was over. People were running over from all kinds of directions and the funny thing is we didn't even see any of these workers when we were riding. They all said they heard the crash and came running over. Luckly he wasn't hurt that bad. He just bruised his shoulder really bad. He said it was sore but he was alright. So we rested with him for a bit and then back off to ride to the beach....

So when we finally arrive at the beach there is this big hill you have to go up. The people at the bottom of the hill was telling us to ride our scooters up and park at the top of the hill. I was going to get off and he told us we would be ok to just go. Well so here we go riding up the hill and guess who falls off? Yeah, it was me!! So now Randy has flipped his and I just fell off of ours!!! Go Figure, I should have went with my gut and just walked up as I had planned. So I scrapped my hands and knees.. but when I make it to the top of the hill was that view just gorgeous!!!

When we first sat down on the beach we had at least 10 people say hey mon, wanna get your hair braided? I said no. Not even 3 feet away someone else asking the same thing but this time she said dont you want your hair braided i said no she said but you can have it done sitting on the beach, I said no now stop asking to braid my dang hair, it isn't going to happen. Guess what, as soon as she walked away someone else came up to me, I knew what they were going to ask so I said NO I DONT WANT MY HAIR BRAIDED EVEN ON THE BEACH and she walked away!! It happened at least 10 times when we were on the beach. So finally I thought the harrassing was over, here comes some guys wanting you to rent a jet ski. We asked how much he said something like $80 for 30 minutes, I told him no that was to much now leave me alone, Then 3 minutes later some other guy comes up and asks the same thing we said how much, he said like $40 for 30 minutes then we were debating it and he said fine you can ride for a hour for $40. So we did it. We were debating on who would go first, so we told Randy to go ahead and we would stay and watch our stuff..... So the guy tells us to put our bag with our all of our stuff in this "waterproof compartment" well we did not thinking of anything, Well so we all get on and ride off.
