insulationbabe Posted August 20, 2011 #177 Share Posted August 20, 2011 We have DP - guess its for diamond plus - then kind of a faded G and then OS for our owner's suite on the Jewel in October - have no idea either - just checked our set sail pass, so have no idea what it is - oh well - the cruise is paid, we have our set sail pass - our sample luggage tag so I am no going to worry about it - so if anyone finds out please post it - thanks:)

BND Posted August 20, 2011 #179 Share Posted August 20, 2011 Okay, just checked my set sail pass again.....and....... The DP for Diamond Plus is gone, and all that remains is the "G" and JS for junior suite!!!! The Goat stole my DP status and I want it back. Damn Goat  No, no, the Goat ATE your status. Get it right. Goats will eat anything.
Sequim88 Posted August 21, 2011 #180 Share Posted August 21, 2011 I'd like to know the dollar amount of the bet at RCI over how quick it would take for a "G" to hit CC. :D;) Hey, at least a whole bunch of people aren't talking about smuggling booze because of this thread.
Martini Sampler Posted August 21, 2011 #181 Share Posted August 21, 2011 What is a G-string on steroids? A G-thread.

clean1owner Posted August 21, 2011 #187 Share Posted August 21, 2011 G-string, G-spot, G-this is getting nuts. If it were an IT department for anyone but RCCL, I would believe that a Tech planted it to be a Gotcha for anyone who noticed. But we all know who we are dealing with. CroozeAddict Posted August 21, 2011 #188 Share Posted August 21, 2011 DW has the same thing on her Set Sail Pass. No wine package or anything else over and above the norm. Lowly platinum too. :D I don't think it has anything to do with luggage tags (our sample tag says "C").
English_in_Spain Posted August 21, 2011 #189 Share Posted August 21, 2011 As far as I can see, everyone with the G is a C&A member (Gold or above) AND in a JS or above. Does that narrow it down?
caribbeanadventure13 Posted August 21, 2011 #190 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Are you going to have a Great time? :) I really wanna know now spent an hour last night reading this thread!
Mac303 Posted August 21, 2011 #191 Share Posted August 21, 2011 My wife says the "G" stands for Gems and that means I must buy her some.
dsjlcruise Posted August 21, 2011 #192 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Both my husband and I have a "G" on our SetSail pass, so I called our RCI travel assistant and sent him an email so he could see what I was talking about. When I hear back I will post the answer I receive.
ChollaChick Posted August 21, 2011 #193 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Maybe the goat could carry on the smuggled booze?
temple1 Posted August 21, 2011 #194 Share Posted August 21, 2011 So should I put my goat in my checked luggage or in my carry-on?:D Neither, get it a service animal vest and walk it on. :D
erin_cruisers Posted August 21, 2011 #195 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Maybe the goat could carry on the smuggled booze? Of course, thats how we do it. And we don't just leave the goat in the cabin either - we take them on excursions. ;) Here we are on the way to the beach, with the goats carrying the towels, umbrella, chairs, beer and other gear: The cruise line will give you a special sign to put on your cabin door, just as a courtesy for your stateroom attendant:
Paulxyz2004 Posted August 21, 2011 #196 Share Posted August 21, 2011 My wife says the "G" stands for Germs and that means I must buy her some. Why would she want you to get Germs:eek::eek::eek:;):p
ChollaChick Posted August 21, 2011 #197 Share Posted August 21, 2011 Oh another pack goat aficionado! We rent ours from http://www.enchantedpackgoats.com* but often they seem to come with a bit of a drinking problem and we wind up with no booze and a drunken goat who stumbles often and occasionally passes out. :) We're hoping to upgrade to a unicorn next year. *Absolutely no disrespect intended to Enchantedpackgoats.com. I'm sure their goats are truly not alcoholics and do their jobs magically with skill and finesse.
erin_cruisers Posted August 21, 2011 #198 Share Posted August 21, 2011 ... We're hoping to upgrade to a unicorn next year.... Can you get these upgrades at the pier? or must you wait until you board? :p
