craftymom914 Posted August 20, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2011 We are traveling as a family on Eclipse...first time on Celebrity. We enjoy board games...Trivial Pursuit,Scrabble, etc. Does anyone know if there are any games available for lending or should we bring our own? Thanks very much! kitty9 Posted August 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2011 They have some, but we've found that there are so many missing pieces, it wasn't worth the effort.
miched Posted August 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2011 . Besides the missing pieces there are signs saying not to remove from the area not that it means anything. So if you want to play something just take your own game. .
craftymom914 Posted August 20, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted August 20, 2011 Thank you for confirming what I suspected. Travel scrabble it is!
phoenix_dream Posted August 20, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2011 we have had decent luck with the Scrabble games, but I do recommend before you play you double-check to make sure all the pieces are there. You also can usually find chess. Beyond that, bring your own. I have found that if you remove the game parts from their boxes they take up much less room and are nicer to play than travel versions in general. Just my opinion. Also, they do have Trivial Pursuit team competition onboard - not sure if they are every day but they do have them. I play sometimes although it frustrates me as some teams are so big compared to our three family members that we really never stand a chance. It is still fun to see if you know the answers.
