Halloween on RCCL Ships

On the Liberty last year, there was an awesome Halloween party. A lot more people participated than were expected; it was a pleasant surprise! Tons of fun costumes, Monster Mash dance-offs, crazy decorations, and a dj set. Very fun! I could tell that the people who scoffed and nay-sayed Halloween felt disappointed that they didn't bring a costume. I highly recommend!

We sailed Liberty last year on Halloween also. There were many people dressed up in costumes. The children were trick or treating in the promenade, loads of fun.

Last yr over 600 people dressed up for Halloween, not all entered the Halloween contest, but sure was a lot of fun as we won first place!!! This was on FOS. Seperate cat. for couples, singles, kids ect. We won tkts to Stingray alley, a bottle of wine, $25.00 casino match play, CocoCay wave runner rental and free gift from inch of gold. Well worth packing the extra stuff along! This yr. not doing it up sooo much.

Had a lot fo fun on the Liberty for Halloween 2010. DH and I slightly dressed up, they had a great dance party in Studio B with decorations and all. A lot of people conitnued the party down in the Catacombs nightclub.

Some people wore costumes to dinner.

In all honesty Halloween night on Liberty was one of the most fun and memorable experiences on a ship to date :)

I wanted to do another Halloween cruise this year but I have to save my sick days up so I can use them for maternity leave in a few years.

The ExOS last year had a great party and a lot of people wore costumes. The Windjammer was decorated with carved pumpkins and fake spider webs. The promenade was decorated a bit too. It was a lot of fun!

Hi mamapan!

But I had so much to drink, by the time we paraded down the Promenade and down to Studio B, DH had to help me back to our cabin! Have cruised other times for Halloween, but East Ghost Explorers was definitely the best!

We were on Oasis last Halloween and it was quite the event! Halloween decorations all over, costuime contests, a Halloween themed parade and staff doing THRILLER in the promenade. Lots of passengers - adults and kids - in costumes. I carried around candy and kids were trick or treating. It was a GREAT night on the ship and amazing part - everything was completely cleaned up and Halloween free by 9am the next morning. Defintely a fun filled time to be on the ships!

We were on EOS in 2007 and my husband and I dressed up (Superman and 20s flapper girl). There was a parade of costumes, Monster ball dance. Lots of fun!!! Try to get some of the flashing drink glasses that they serve drinks in on Halloween.

Have Fun!

Halloween night will be our first night on board the Indy this year. Anyone know if There will be any partys on board and chance to dress up? I may email RCI and ask?

That's a good idea. We will be on adventure out of malaga on a four night trip on the 31st. As Halloween is really not such a big deal in the uk it didn't even occur to me to take a costume for our son before I read this. Hmmm might be starting a thread on easy to pack, lightweight fancy dress now...

  • 2 weeks later...

Sadly, this will be our first Halloween on land in three years! :(

In 09, we took full-blown costumes on Radiance -- had a great time (and great pictures of all the festivities). And, as for decorations -- if you think those guys can carve melons, just wait until you see what they can do with pumpkins!

Our last year's BooCruise on Mariner seemed a little less organized and elaborate, as Halloween actually fell on departure day. It was still lots of fun, as some folks actually wore their costumes when they boarded! :D
