Which ship is better?

We narrow it down to the Freedom and Liberty. There are a lot of negative review on the Liberty, but the Liberty schedule fit better with our plan, it is 7 days while the Freedom is 8 days.

From reading on Carnival website, I think both ship is the same class, with that in mind, I wonder if both has the same lay out as well?

i'm going on the Liberty for a friends wedding in November, she did a lot of research before booking so I know it's going to be a great ship. Plus it goes into dry dock shortly so it will will have lots of improvements

They are sister ships and have identical layout. Liberty is by far more beautiful in terms of decor. And a bonus....she goes into dry dock next month and is getting some super secretive enhancements that John Heald has been taunting us about. Pick Liberty!

Totally agree! Have been on both - both are great ships. I really don't care about decore. Liberty constantly gets high ratings on crew friendliness. We have had Liberty booked for a year - way before the dry dock enhancements were announced. But if price was the same or a tiny bit more, I would definitely take an 8 day over a 7 day cruise. I would also go with itinerary!

I have been on the Liberty twice and love it. I would have no problem going on the Liberty again. Was just on her a few months ago. Never been on the Freedom so can't say anything about that ship.

I have actually been on both ships and they are identical layouts and their decor is equally nice.

 

I would make a choice on price and itinerary.
