Laundry question

we are going second time on princess and need to find out about self serve laundry facilities.

Do they have laundromat on pacific princess?

How does the system and charges work or how much does it cost?

One one on deck 7. Last time we were aboard it was 4 quarters and soap was free. I wouldn't depend on things still being the same, since this was April 2009. I get free laundry, but still travel with Purex sheets for those times that I choose to use their facilities.

That is exactly what I was going to post - the price has definitely gone up to $2.00 per load in the washers and dryers.

 

We planned ahead and brought our own quarters for 2 small loads. Ended up running out though because we thought it was still only $1 per load.

Just off the Emerald yesterday. The signs said $2.00 but it really was $1.50 in all laundry rooms. Just leave the end slots empty. not sure about other ships but worth a try.

I think it's great that Princess have the laundromats for passenger use. Imagine trying to pack for a month long cruise without this facility.

I love the laundromats for longer cruises. Boo to the price raise though! I bring the all-in-one sheets that have both detergent and softener--easy to pack, no mess.
