Claim processing time?

For those of you who have had to submit a claim to your travel insurance company, how long did it take to process a claim?

I have been told mine will take 10-15 business days due to all the claims for Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.

I actually think 10-15 business days sounds pretty fast.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if it would be considered fast, slow, or average. I guess I am anxious as I am very curious as to how the cruiseline is going to respond to the request for information about our delay.

This interval is quite reasonable even in the best of times.

11 days from mailing to check in hand.

have had 4 or 5 in 40+ cruises and none took more than 3 weeks... which is reasonable IMHO.. assuming you have all your paperwork right etc.= double check b4 submitting!

Ours took 1 month but they had to contact doctors offices.
