When we got back to the room we realized Po (Kung Fu Panda) was going to be out doing M&G for 5 more minutes! We rushed down and made it at 10:29. No line, just enough time to run up for a photo and then Po split! Perfect timing!

That’s it for the day, we were wiped out! Try as we might, we just could not stay up past 11:30.

Jen...still a fabulous review & Thanks again for all the wonderful pictures...you have a beautiful family :D

Quick question...do you know or remember if the cabin doors are metal ? I am planning on making a door sign & wanted to put magnets on it to put on the door.

Can't wait for the next installment ;):D

Just booked the Allure for October 2012 and am loving your review. I have read different things about tipping in the specialty restaurants, and have a question whether tips are automatically added to the specialty restaurant price (like the 15% added to beverages). I have no problem either way, just wanted to know what your experiences were at the restaurants you visited.

Since I'm the one who handled the specialty dining bills, I'll answer this one.:)

The bill that the waiter brought to the table said something like- a small portion of the dining fee includes a gratuity. It was not clear about how much of it went towards the tip. They did not add an extra tip on top of the dining fee. There is a place on the bill for to add an extra tip if you'd like.

Yep, like Ron said they are indeed metal. The doors do have little ridges in them but they weren't problematic, the magnets held just fine! :D

Thanks Ron for addressing this. I know tips are a personal thing but I also know that sometimes it helps people to know what others do in the same situation. We do like to add an additional tip at the Specialties if service warrants. For the most part, it always has been above and beyond fantastic. We had so-so service in Chops this time around but that was partially our fault (ahem- my fault) for scheduling it so close to the Comedy Show, so we were really rushed along. But even then we did add an extra gratuity. :)

Hope that helps a little bit, thanks so much for reading!!!

Thank you.

Now...just waiting for the next installments. The story is like one of those Saturday matinee cliff hangers...we're on the edge of our seat waiting for the next adventure.

I know right? I'm sorry this is taking so long to write, seems life is always trying to get in the way! LOL! :)

Love the food porn. Missing my Savory Bites! My assistant waiters always make sure they are available for me after the first night.;)

Thanks so much, I'm glad you are enjoying the review! I had trouble getting Savory Bites after the first night on my last cruise but we had them on our bread tray every night this time! Yay! It wouldn't be a cruise without them!:)

I'm absolutely loving this review. The pictures are bright, big and beautiful and it makes me even more excited to get on the Allure next September!

Thanks so much, sometimes I worry that the pictures might be too big but that's the way I like 'em so you can really see the detail! ;)

Glad you are enjoying the review, the next year will just fly by for you, and before you know it you'll be onboard!!! :D

Thanks so much for reading Dawna! Yes, Allure wasn't quite a relaxing experience , but we chose to do it that way, and If I had it to do over again (which we will...oh yes, we will!) I wouldn't change a thing. :D

Have a great time next week!!! :)

Nenner1, I don't think I have ever read a live thread on here where the poster spent so much time answering all the questions, and with such grace.

Spending your time for this is very refreshing, positive and helpful to new and past cruisers.

Good job

We want to thank you for taking the time to post all of this. Not only do we almost feel as if we know your family, your efforts will ehlp to improve the experiences others have while on board.

Due to your review, we booked Rita's for the first night. To include DW and I, our daughter and her DH and two kids aged 4 and 7, and our 22 year old son.

Thanks again, and keep it coming!! lol

Great review. We were on with our kids in April and had a great time as well. My question to you is where is Bubba Gump? We are going on Liberty in December and would like to go there the night before. Is it near the Beach Place shop/restuarants?

Thanks very much.

Questions for the Allure cruisers!

Are there enough outlets in the cabins? Would love to leave the power strip at home!

Do you know how much does lunch cost at Rita's Cantina?

Does the Starbucks have mugs for sale?

Other question for a friend -- is there room for a stow-away in the closet?
