How early can we check in?

We are in Athens to embark tomorrow on the Rotterdam. There is a great discussion of when we can check in. You would think I would remember!

 

I remember the rooms are ready pretty early and showing up to check in maybe at 9AM.

There isn't much reason to be there before 11. The boarding will start between 11:30 and 1200.

Right -- cabins will be ready by 11:30.

Enjoy the Rotterdam ,we did, it had the best Pinnacle we have ever been to.

On the Oosterdam last Oct. we no one was allowed in their cabins until 1:30 when the we were told all cabins were ready... we didn't try to get in before that but were told not to use the cabins before that...!! We are leaving on the Oosterdam again 11/05 and would really like to know the real answer to this post....

I got off the Rotterdam 12 days ago in Athens. When we boarded in Civitavecchia (Rome) around noon, all the rooms were ready. We were told by others who boarded at 11:30am that their room was ready on boarding.

You won't board until 11-11:30. If you're there earlier, you can get checked in and sit around until the boarding process begins.

Things have changed. Cabins are ready at embarkation now (around or about 11:30), and you can proceed directly there to drop off your carry-ons.
