She was just OK because she was completely burned out by the time we got there and it really showed on the TA portion of our b2b. Her contract kept getting extended because at that time they had no idea if/when Nedere would be coming back.

She was fine on the Baltic's portion but started to slack off slightly when Fernando boarded to help her with the TA.

Hopefully she will be more relaxed as Diamond Concierge. Of course, she's got Reyno there to whip her into shape if she doesn't size up to his standards!!:D

That's encouraging -- we want to sail on EN when she comes to Port C as it is so close. We could even book last minute during hurricane season as long as nothing looked like it was heading our way.

I just noticed that for some ships you do not have "Concierge" preceding the name and some you do?:confused: There must be a method to your system, but I can't figure it out.:o:D

well,maybe I didnt put concierge in front of every first name cuz I figured most knew it was for the concierge...........I did add Diamond in front of those...........but to make you feel better,I'll edit right now.

We are booked in an Owner' suite (first timers RCI--not first time cruisers) on Explorer 1/13/13. We have 6pm dining as requested. We also requested a table for 2.

Should I try to contact the concierge as the date draws closer? I note that there is a new or change of concierge as of our sail date. I would expect that would make a difference cause our concierge will still be off duty if I email before the sail date.

Any suggestions as to how to handle this situation? There is nothing on my documents that says table for two.

Your documents won't show your table assignment. They try to accommodate all requests but its not guaranteed you'll get a table for 2. The best you can do is go find your table when you board (the doors aren't locked to the dining room) and if it isn't what you want then it'll be posted in your Cruise compass when you can meet with the Ass't maitre 'd's to try and change it.

The concierge has no power over seat assignments in the dining room. that's up to the dining room coordinator and maitre 'd.

I would still email the concierge as he will forward it, or leave it in the in-box for his/her reliever to read.

We were on the Indy earlier this month. Raj Bhubwath and the bartender from Turkey who was working in the lounge are by far the worst two RCL employees we have met. Very poor service in that lounge.

On the 12/13 Liberty Oana returned to the DL. She mentioned Effon returned to guest services. (She also ran the DL much better than he did by having more food and greeters at the entrance. )

No idea who moved to CL
