I am sorry if this questions was asked and answered before.

 

I remember a washer and dryer on the Grand Princess, but I do not remember whether there was a reasonably priced laundry service such as HAL's $ 30 bag (stuff everything in that does not need to be ironed). Can anybody tell whether Princess offers a similar 'bag'?

 

Since we are going on two cruises down-under in a row on the Dawn Princess and the Sea Princess, I need to pack and wash judiciously.

Princess does offer $20 per bag, but I do not remember seeing it on the Dawn Princess in September and October. However, we are Elite and get free laundry, so we were not looking for it.

It's been offered on each Princess cruise I've been on, but the bags are quite small. I use the ship's laundry (except for DH's trousers and jeans) so I'm not aware of the current price, but $20 sounds correct.

Thank you for your response. Even if the bag is small, it helps with undies and t-shirts.

I think it was more than $20 (maybe $28) on my last Princess cruise and I have only seen it on cruises of 10 or more days, but maybe that varies from sailing to sailing.

 

Yes, the bag is paper and not so large, but trust me, if you roll each garment tightly (like jeans and shirts) you can really cram a lot into a little bit of space. Don't just stuff it in the bag loosely, roll it first :-)

We just completed a 14 day cruise on the Coral and did not see a 20 dollar a bag special (perhaps we missed it...lots of details are found in the Patter). Self serve Laundry was 2 dollars per load (4 dollars to wash and dry).
