Question RE: Deck 10 on Freedom of the Seas

Looking to book an inside cabin on the Freedom of the Seas - Deck 10. Has anyone booked the inside cabins with the entrance to the Windjammer above you before. And if so, how noisy was it? L-category.....anyone.

I was hoping for an answer today. I need to book this cruise. No one has stayed on Deck 10 on the Freedom (inside cabin) near the back where the Windjammer entrance is?

No personal experience but I found this cabin review for 1391 which I believe is an inside aft.

 

Cabin 1391 - Freedom of the Seas, Deck 10. Lots of vibration and mechanical noise. Room unaffected by activities above on Deck 11 (Windjammer Cafe).

I had an aft balc on deck 10, diretly under WJ and never heard a thing

There shouldn't be undue noise from the entrance to the WJ....it's carpeted. We have, however, felt annoying vibrations when in the aft section....not all the time, but I certainly could tell a difference from a more mid-ship location.

In 1378 on freedom in sept. No noise from above. Don't remember significant vibration.

Has anyone had recent experience with the cabins on Deck 10 on Freedom of the Seas? I see that most recommend cabins on decks 6 thru 9. We need connecting cabins and so far the only available cabins that will work for us are on deck 10 - 1609 and 1611. Has anyone been in these cabins or near these cabins. Thanks!

We always get a cabin on the uppermost level where the cabins are.

We have always booked 1568 on Mariner and now Freedom............

Some critics have commented on the amount of noise we must get from the chairs above (Pool Level).

Well, if there is noise I miss out on it.

Yea, my hearing is fine.

We are usually so exhausted when we finally get to sleep for the night 1-2am. if there is noise we don't hear it.
