No cabin yet!!

Recommended Posts

One week today till we board the Diamond Princess for our B2B but alas we have no cabin for the first cruise yet, I keep checking the personaliser but it is just saying L inside.

We booked guarantee insides for both cruises and we have an upgrade to a partially obstructed view on E deck for the return cruise and that cruise is sold out.

I am going to print the luggage tags today anyway and keep fingers crossed that we get to know in the next few days if not we might get a nice surprise at the wharf :):D

Good Luck ....Fingers crossed for you.:):)

When we had a guarantee they took us right to the wire.

5 days from the cruise was when we finally got our allocation , and it was a nice surprise.

It popped up on the personaliser , and our TA also advised via an email.

The personaliser is closed off , a few days before the cruise , so if you are not advised by then , you may not know until boarding/check in.

We were on a Mediterranean cruise and the cabin number wasn't released when we flew out four days before we sailed. We didn't have internet access (it was a few years ago) while we waited. We had a guaranteed inside room. When we boarded in Venice we didn't realize our luck until we were walking down the hall to our room. We had been given an obstructed view window, not the interior cabin we expected.

We acted like we had won the lottery. Good luck, and IMO, sometimes a late wait is a good thing.

We didn't get a cabin allocation for our 6 week cruise to UK on Oriana until 3 days from sailing - upgraded from an inside to a DELUXE outside (larger than an ordinary outside).

You are at least in the race --- :) good luck!!

Looks like a lot of you have been in the same position playing the waiting game....still nothing today sighhh... but all is good, off out in a minute to pick up USD as we like to load our cruise cards with cash once on board.

Thanks for your good wishes everyone :)
