Just go on the Magic or Breeze and get yourself a 101oz Beer Tube for $27.95 ($32.14 after gratuity)!!! :D

You know, that's actually not that great a deal when you break it down by the ounce....at least not as good as I would have hoped for.

yes they do and I believe they are 4 in a bucket 16 0z and w/15% added to the price it is right around 25 bux.But they also sell certain beers ,,bud product I believe at 3.95 a piece if you wanna go that route.

I'm confused.. been a bar tender for the better part of 25 years during my life and have never seen a 16oz bottle of domestic beer.. are these made special for the cruise ships? Also, a little diappointed that NCL has 6 in a helmet (bucket) for the price of 5.. regular 12 oz bottles though.. where Carnival only offers 4. Is this why Carnival only has 4? Because of the bigger bottles?

They have 16 ounce aluminum bottles on the ships. No glass containers on the pool deck.

Use to buy 16 oz bottles of Strohs by the case.

The 16oz bottles on the ship are actually aluminum containers that look like a bottle.

We always drink beer and save a ton of money buying pitchers of draft in the Sports bar on the Valor:D. For about $15 bucks got a regular size pitcher (cant remember the ounces) and took it with glasses wherever we went (ex: the nightly show, the casino, listening to bands). Downside was that when it was empty, we had to go back to the sports bar to get a new one. The pitchers were always ice cold and the glasses as well. It was Bud LIght or their brand Red Frog. I hear it is available on all ships but only in the sports bars. Hope this helps.

The best value IMO is the 25.4 oz Fosters oil can. They are around $2 more than a 16 oz domestic. "1 Fosters/2 Glasses" is DW and my standard order in the casino.

Foster's (750ml / 25oz can) is definitely the best price per ounce in a can.

Usually the 12oz beers are priced better than the 16oz beer option of the same kind too. For instance Bud/Bud Light is $3.95/12oz = $.0.33/oz and Bud/Bud Light is $5.75/16oz = $.0.36/oz.

If I remember correctly, not all ships have the buckets available??? I know on the Dream a couple of year's ago, they weren't offered. They did have them on the Miracle this past year. Maybe all ships now have them onboard??

Can anyone confirm?

I know I've gotten them on all my cruises, but I think I only ordered them on the Lido deck. I buy them for convenience when I'm camped on a lounge chair, not to save $2 so I never tried any other bars.
