jasminelee Posted February 4, 2012 #61 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I was searching for travel books for my Kindle using the search word Caribbean, and ended up stumbling upon a 2.99 book, Caribbean Moon, which ends up being part of a 3-part detective series; the first book takes place on a "Carousel" cruise out of Puerto Rico, sailing to St. Thomas, St. Maarten...etc. It's full of mystery and murder :eek:I enjoyed the first book and I've since downloaded the second book, which so far has brought the dectective team back to St. Thomas for what seems to be yet another cruise related murder mystery. First book was definately worth the 2.99; I'm not that far into the second book to say for sure. ;) I love mystery - who is the author BTW? thanks
jem77bfp Posted February 4, 2012 #62 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I love mystery - who is the author BTW?thanks It's written by Rick Murcer. An easy read, but fun since it's set on a cruise ship.

MsSoCalCruiser Posted February 4, 2012 #70 Share Posted February 4, 2012 Just checked again and its still $2.99 but it has 13 customer reviews, all 5 star. If I didn't get it for free, I would buy it for $2.99. :)

crzycick Posted February 5, 2012 #74 Share Posted February 5, 2012 Shoot, I read this the day it was posted but it took me until yesterday to download the kindle app to my tablet. Went up in price :( But I did download a bunch of free cookbooks! I love that I can have kindle, nook, and google books on one device. To the poster asking about getting kindle on her nook, if it's a rooted nook you would be able to download the kindle app from the market place. We got rid of ours when we got our tablets, but I don't think you can get it without rooting the nook
ladybug1s Posted February 6, 2012 #75 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Shucks! Missed the free download. Is it worth the 2.99? What is it about? I read a mystery somewhere?
