JeffKoz Posted February 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2012 I have ordered omelets and such. You have to call and order those usually, but the card you hang out on the door works for smaller items like scrambled eggs, bacon, toast ,etc.
PSCruiser Posted February 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2012 You can't get everything in the WJ or MDR, but there is a limited hot breakfast available: scrambled eggs or egg beaters, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grilled tomato, plus juice, toast, pastries, etc. Its all on the door-hanger menu. griffy116 Posted February 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2012 My parents loved having breakfast of eggs, bacon, pastries and coffee delivered to their cabin. We love going to the MDR their pancakes (which aren't on the hanging door menu) and the quiet, for breakfast and the teens head to the WJ for plates of donuts, yogurt, fruit and plates full of potatoes, eggs, bacon. There's something for everyone.
sharonlacey Posted February 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2012 If it is not on the little door hanger just write it in. We have done that and they bring it;)
cj_one2000 Posted February 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Does any one have a photo of the breakfast card/door hangar??? It might be helpful to others like myself who aren't morning people :D and want to still have breakfast available to them without being all around a lot of people first thing in the morning. Artemis908 Posted February 9, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 9, 2012 If you get a suite you can order anything from the MDR for room service :) It's what I am the most excited about for our trip, I am a room service junkie! :D
cb at sea Posted February 9, 2012 #10 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Do try the dining room for breakfast at least once....no "crowds" to fight...everything is served to you...no searching for syrup or butter...no juggling plates and drinks.... Unless you have a suite with a real dining table, eating a full meal on the coffee table isn't much fun!!!
sharonlacey Posted February 9, 2012 #11 Share Posted February 9, 2012 I can make a meal out of the little rolls and pastries in the dinning room, yummy!!!!!!:D

Desertbelle Posted February 9, 2012 #15 Share Posted February 9, 2012 Just a reminder: Room service food, at best, is luke warm when it arrives (which in my mind doesn't suit eggs and toast) and there isn't really anywhere to eat in the standard cabin but sitting on the bed or sofa leaning over the coffee table. mamasue Posted February 10, 2012 #21 Share Posted February 10, 2012 Is it similar dress to casual night?? Breakfast in the MDR can be almost anything..... shorts and t shirt and up....just not swimwear. It's pretty casual at breakfast time.
LESLIEKURZ Posted February 10, 2012 #22 Share Posted February 10, 2012 Since we like a hot berakfast we skip the room service and pack a tray instead. In the early morning my tray and I take a walk to the Windjammer for a better selection of hopefully hotter and fresher food than what comes up from room service. Yes I have to drag myself out of bed and put something presentable on but I like eying up the food before I commit and quite frankly the exercise isn't a bad thing. Shekim Posted February 10, 2012 #23 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I can "easily" make do on the small balcony table and it's worth it :D And crawl up in bed with your tray and have Breakfast in Bed! Nothing better!
newcruisergal Posted February 20, 2012 #24 Share Posted February 20, 2012 We get eggs, hash brown, fruit, and pastries along with coffee every morning to eat on our balcony and everything has always arrived fresh and hot. It is truly the highlight of the trip for us!
Cya@Sea Posted February 20, 2012 #25 Share Posted February 20, 2012 I am an early riser, my family isn't. I order coffee and pastries every morning and sit on the balcony. It is my time to relax before the start of the day. I enjoy it so much.
