What is happening in Port Everglades?

Does anyone know what is going on in Ft Lauderdale at Port Everglades? Have been watching flashing lights like crazy heading toward one of the ships! You can still see flashing lights all over the place in one of the views! Anybody? :eek:

What webcam are you watching? I don't see anything unusual on the two I have up (Port Everglades webcam and Fort Lauderdale webcam @ Pier 66).

Either a pilot boat, or CG port security. With a half dozen or more cruise ships in port today, it is not uncommon for the CG to have assets active in the harbor.

There was a steady stream of flashing lights headed to the port about an hour ago maybe a little more and they are still there but you can only see them in one of the shots they show where you can see up between two of the ships in port. Looks they are at the Royal Caribbean ship but not sure.

Well I am relieved that somebody else sees them! My DH and I saw them arriving and it was just a steady flow! Looked like something awful was happening! Oh well I hope everything is well and all have safe cruises!

one of the webcams said that a tow boat pulled in a pleasure craft..they had a shot of it on the cam...not sure if this is related...
