Yay! I'm loving your review! My boyfriend and I will be cruising this itinerary on the Liberty over Thanksgiving this year! We are also already booked at Mr Sanchos so I'm glad to hear you had a great time! Looking forward to reading the rest! :)
You'll love it!!
I'm loving your review. We will be sailing on the Liberty in June. Can't wait!
I'm jealous, I already want to go back!
Your review is perfect. My husband and I were on this Itinerary in January and loved it. We really want to go again in July but we have another cruise in June. We loved Mr. Sanchos. I can't wait to read more.

Thank you for taking me back to one of the best vacations we have had!!!
Thank you! Yeah, Mr. Sanchos was pretty excellent. Next time I will probably get there a little earlier. We didn't think they opened until a certain time, so hung around for a bit. When we got there, they were already in full swing!
Actually did OK at the casino this night and had fun chatting with our Friendly Beaver friends. We had an early excursion the next day in Belize so decided to not make it too late of a night. Had to be at the Venetian for our tender group at 8am so chugged some water and headed to bed.

Elephant?

YEP! Elephant. I nicked named our "Cage" after Cage The Elephant, a funk punk band out of Kentucky, Bowling Green, I think. Their song, "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked", seems to fit a cruise, perhaps.

Going Liberty (2x, but before 2.0) in Nov. Have done Nachi twice before, but I thought since I would have some people my own age (28......wait I'll be 29 by then.........:o) that maybe something different.

Did you book through the same company as Nachi? I saw they were offering two new AI resorts, but they didn't name them and I hadn't read any reviews of them yet.

we booked through beach tours dot com dot mx - I'm not sure if that's the same as Nachi or not, but it was easy peesy. It's a $5 per person deposit with the rest due in cash when you arrive. Just print out a copy of your receipt and bring it along.

We weren't feeling the MDR for dinner so we headed to Emile's for dinner. I had the jerked pork over rice and Cass had some salad, a chicken quesadilla, and a little bit of jerked pork. We forgot to take pictures and I blame Jersy :o

We ran into Mary and Hailey and made plans to meet up at the Past Guest Party Wednesday to celebrate my birthday........I'll probably let Cass deal with Wednesday since she remembers more than I do.

There was a Thriller dance class in the Casino that she really wanted to do so since we were heading to the tables, it was perfect. I don't know if she knew I was there with the camera or not.

OMG, I have always wanted to learn that dance and for it to be held in the casino is awesome!! I know Hubby won't do it but he can play at the tables and I can learn the dance and not be far away. I'm so excited!! :D

There were a lot of "learn a dance" sessions on this cruise, and I've never seen them before in the past - I have a feeling it's because of the entertainment staff on this crew - there were a lot of them that did the teaching - I'm sure it's not fleet-wide! I hope the same crew is still there and offering it when you sail!

Have you been to Nachi before, and if so, how do you compare it to Mr. Sancho's? I've only been to Nachi once, but will be back in Coz later on this fall. I'm debating between the two and would love to get your thoughts.

Thanks for the review... I'm booked for the Liberty April, 2013. Loooong wait, but this helps just a little! ;)

I have been to both in the last year and they are both a good time. Nachi has a little calmer vibe to it and the food was not as good. Mr Sanchos had inflatable water toys ($12) and more of a party atmosphere. Cost was about the same on both and they are next to each other on the water so cab ride is the same. If I had to choose I think I would go with Mr Sanchos especially if there is a variety of ages in your group.

First off, I LOVE your user name!!! I kept quoting that movie when we were going to Maya Key to get pictures with the monkey.

Second, your Liberty cruise next April is our Honeymoon Cruise :D See ya there, in only 400 days.

No, we haven't done Nachi, so unfortunately we can't compare. I've read some things (not recently mind you) that Nachi seemed like it was getting a little run-down, but I have no idea if they've done any upgrades like Mr. Sanchos did. See ya in 2013!!

You guys do AWESOME reviews!!! I keep going back to your last Pride review. We sail on that one in 143 days!!! Your review is what keeps me going!!! :D

Aww, thank you!! You'll love the Pride - she will always feel like home to us :)

Chris & Cass, lovin your review (as usual)! Can't wait for the birthday review:eek:;):p

Chris, did you drink some rum to help your cold????;)

BoooBoooo, we went to Nachi and really enjoyed it. But looking at Chris' pics of Mr Sancho's, it looks a little nicer...at least the pool does. Don't think you can go wrong either way:)

Thank you so much for the info! We did Paradise Beach (?) once and we were NOT impressed. Leaning towards Mr. Sancho's at this point. Thanks again.

Loving your review, and photos! You both look like you are having a blast! Thanks for taking the time to post. I am looking forward to my cruise on the Liberty in October. Will be my second time on the ship, but the 2.0 upgrades will be new for me. Great review!:)

Thanks everyone for the kind words! We took a break tonight, but will be back tomorrow with at least Belize :)

MARY! Hey!! It was so great to meet you and Hailey! You will both factor into many more appearances throughout the rest of the week's recap! I'm so posting a picture of that strawberry

Love the review! Can't wait to hear about the birthday celebration. Happy Belated 8th Birthday! My Mom celebrated her 15th leap year birthday. She was wishing she was on a cruise.

That's awesome! I think leap year babies are so special! I'd love to be able to keep the cruise tradition alive for Chris in the many years to come :D

Sunday, Feb 26th – Day at Sea

I’ll be taking over review duties for now – Chris is busy enjoying his new video game that came out today

Hmm....sounds like my husband. I betcha it's Mass Effect 3 right? My husband had me out at midnight for the release. I couldn't stay awake. I called it a night at 1am. Needless to say he states he went to bed at 3am. I'm not buying that one.
