woodworker&knitter Posted March 17, 2012 Author #26 Share Posted March 17, 2012 Thank you for reporting back.Good to know that the patient is stable. Did an officer accompany your dinner mate while dropping the urn? We all met at the front office., where an officer and a young lady from the office then took us to the 3 rd deck aft. It was roped off so no one could walk by. Peter told us a few nice little stories about his mom. We each gave the urn a little rub and said "bye Edna" and he drop her into the water, and then threw the rose petals that they had given him. We watched for a while and then the office took us back to the front office. Telling Peter that he would have a certificate signed by the captain delivered to the cabin, with the longitude and latitude when she went. It was done very beautifully. The 6 of us then went and had some champagne to honor his mom.
