cruising diva Posted March 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2012 We are thinking of booking a cruise for 2013 and are interested in the above suite. I notice that it's near the elevator and would like to know from anyone who was in the suite --do you hear the ding of the elevator? I know I can go further aft but don't care for the vibrations and engine noises.Thank you in advance.
kitty9 Posted March 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2012 I've had cabins right next to the elevator lobbies and never had a noise problem. I've also been in RS on the M class ships and again, never a noise problem.
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted March 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2012 And I've sailed several times back in suiteland on deck 6 and had no vibration or engine noise issues.

Project_gal Posted March 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 29, 2012 We have had both these suites on different M-Class ship and perfer to be as far forward as possible. There are absolutely no problem from the elevators. We will booked either next time we book a RS on M-class. Sue

We are in a RS (6135) with the adjoining CC cabin (6137) on our Millie cruise next year. I was wondering about the elevator noise, but now I know I have nothing to worry about! I'll still bring my earplugs though to block out the snoring of my DH.
Rare 81Zoomie Posted June 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Is there any wind noise in 6133 since it is directly behind the angled balcony?
Project_gal Posted June 20, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 20, 2015 Is there any wind noise in 6133 since it is directly behind the angled balcony? We experienced no wind issues and we were in 6133 for a transatlantic cruise.
hughdm Posted June 20, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 20, 2015 (edited) No wind issues, elevator noise, or engine noise. This is our favorite cabin (6133) and we booked it again for next year on Summit. Edited June 20, 2015 by hughdm
