Celebrity Summit--Hours of all restaurants/room service onboard?

Maybe I'm missing a sticky of some sort, but does anyone have a list showing the hours of all the food sources available onboard, including room service, restaurants, dining rooms, buffets, and cafes?

Hours vary a bit on different itineraries, but this will get you started

Room service - 24 hours

Breakfast buffet -- around 6 or 6:30 am for early risers, ending around 11:30

Lunch buffet -- noon until around 3

Pizza, pasta, salads --- until around midnight

Main dining room -- breakfast hours vary depending on port or sea day

Main dining room -- no lunch on port days, lunch is around noon to two or so

Main dining room -- First seating around six, second seating around 8:30

Select dining -- starts around 5:30 until around 9 p.m.

Aqua spa cafe -- breakfast and lunch only

Cafe al Bacio -- snacks until three or so, then little desserts until late

What you need are copies of the dailies, as all the serving hours vary a bit depending on whether it's a port day or a sea day

Perfect, thanks so much. I take it the dailies publish all of the hours for food options?

I was under the impression that they no longer did 24 hour room service, but that must just be the buffets.

Yes, the dailies publish all the hours for all of the various food and drink venues. As far as I know, Celebrity never did 24 hour buffets. Perhaps you are thinking of another line? The only time you won't be able to get overnight room service is the night before you disembark.

  • 3 weeks later...

There will be sushi in the late afternoon and the dinner entree will come out around six and the grill opens about the same time. Don't expect as lavish a buffet as on some lines, nor does Celebrity serve the same food as in the MDR as some lines do. Again, all of this varies by ship and itinerary. On days when there are late shore excursions, the hours might be adjusted. Consult the daily each day for that day's opening hours.

What about the buffet for dinner? What time does that start?

Go to the MDR, Mingle with people, make the most of your vacation. It adds so much to the experience. Just say hello to someone new, likely they will say hello back and a conversation has begun.

Better yet, find the Roll Call for your Cruise, talk to those sailing with you ahead of time and then you can link up with others for a table in the MDR. Usually they will have events organized for the Cruise where you can mingle too.

Although early buffet visit can tide you over till late seating in MDR:-)

We are thinking of the buffet for one night in Bermuda so we can get to Harbour Nights. The rest of the time we will be in the dining room.

It may not be an elaborate buffet, it is fine. We opted to dine there on a few nights when we didn't want to sit through a two hour dinner time. Met some really nice people there on formal night. Hate formal night, join the fun group at the buffet.
