harvonj Posted April 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2012 can you book a specific cabana? Are any cabanas better than another?Do you find out which one you have been assigned when you board?thanx
CruiserBruce Posted April 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2012 No, you can't request a specific retreat cabana. You find out your assigned cabana about 3pm on boarding day. We found the cabanas facing aft to have better airflow, thus being more comfortable in warm climates like the Caribbean.
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Some times there will be someone on duty earlier than 3 PM -- so hyou can check and see which lone you have been assigned. Good Luck!!
OVgirl Posted April 12, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2012 When you call ship services to reserve your cabana, ask them for the email address of the person on the ship responsible for assigning the cabanas. Send them an email requesting the location you would like to have (maybe also a second choice). When you board the ship there might be a card in your cabin indicating the name of the cabana you have been given. Go to the Retreat and see if the area is ready for use. On our last cruise, we went upstairs around 1pm and they were ready. Pax on B2B cruises can use them all day, so there might be one steward working.
